Who Owns English ?

More people speak English than any other languege, but according to English langueges expert David Crystal, non-native speakers now outnumber native speakers by three to one."There's never before been  a languege that's been spoken more as a second languege than first,"he says. By the end of last year, the number of adult English speakers inAsia had reached 350 million. And according to the British Council, in ten years time 2 billion people will study Englsih and about half the world's population will speak it.

When your best friend count u with his enemies

    He watched us with a dark scowl on his bitter face. The anticipation drained from his eyes, and then, just before the forest came between us, his face suddenly crumpled in pain.
I know that last glimpse of his face would haunt me until I saw him smile again. And right there I vowed that I would see him smile, and soon. I would find a way to keep my friend.
